Flu and Covid19 Booster Vaccinations in Shropshire

Many of the SEND community are eligible for Flu and Covid19 booster vaccinations and they are being encouraged to take up this offer.  Protecting vulnerable individuals from the impact of flu will be more important than ever this year, with levels of Flu expected to be significant following last year’s lockdown.

Those eligible will be invited for their Covid 19 booster by text/email/phone and the flu vaccination can be given at the same time, however those in the vulnerable group are being encouraged to have their flu vaccination as soon as possible and not wait until they can arrange their Covid booster.

NHS Flu vaccination are available from;

Some GP surgeries or Primary Care Network centres

a pharmacy offering the service

your midwifery service if you’re pregnant

a hospital appointment
