We’d love to hear from you!
Live Well Shropshire would like to invite you to join us for a friendly group discussion to share your experiences and tell us more about the support you would find most helpful as an unpaid or family carer.
Live Well Shropshire is a preventative health service funded by Shropshire Council. We support residents aged 18 and over through wellbeing coaching, health-related activities, and group sessions, helping people stay connected to their communities and enjoy healthier, happier lives.
One of our priorities is to explore how we can better support unpaid carers. Shropshire Council’s Carers Team already provides a range of services across the county, and we’d like to understand whether Live Well Shropshire could offer any additional support that would make a real difference to you.
We’d love you to join us:
- Date: Tuesday, 17 November
- Time: 11am–12.30pm approximately
- Venue: British Red Cross offices, 3 Park Plaza, Shrewsbury, SY1 3AF (opposite the Audi dealership)
- Refreshments: Provided
The session will be facilitated by Sophie and Rachel from Shropshire Council’s Co-Production Team. They’ll guide an informal discussion, asking questions to help us understand your experiences, what matters most to you and what additional support might be useful. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance and during the session, you will only be asked to share as much or as little as you are comfortable doing.
We’ll make notes of the discussion so that we can capture your ideas and suggestions. Your experiences are incredibly valuable, and your feedback will help us explore how we can develop support that genuinely meets the needs of unpaid carers in Shropshire.
