Healthy Lives Holiday Programme
The Healthy Lives Programme is PACC’s Holiday offer. Healthy Lives offers a variety of activities to support physical and mental wellbeing, providing young people with SEND with opportunities to catch up with friends and be active.
You only need to register once for each year of the programme
Healthy Lives is not a holiday club. Children and young people must attend with a parent carer, family carer or Personal Assistant (PA) who is responsible for supporting them during the activity.
Our programme helps children and young people to:
- Stay active
- Improve their physical and mental wellbeing
- Meet up with friends
- Try new activities
- Build confidence
- Learn new skills
- Feel part of their local community
We work with a range of local activity providers to offer a varied programme of accessible activities throughout the school and college holidays. The programme also offers peer support for parent/ family carers, giving the opportunity to meet other families.
Who is it for?
Healthy Lives is for children and young people with SEND in Shropshire, no diagnosis is needed to participate. Activities are available for:
- Children aged 8–14
- Young people aged 14–25
During the Summer and Christmas holidays we also offer:
- Family activities for all ages (Siblings are able to attend some of these)
Over Summer we also offer more activities for young people with higher support needs
Information is shared on PACC’s main Facebook page and sent directly to our mailing list.
