PaCC Monthly Newsletter Published
The September 2026 edition of PaCC’s Monthly Newsletter is now available, bringing together the latest information, opportunities, resources and events for parent and family carers of children and young people with SEND across Shropshire.
This month also marks an exciting new chapter for PaCC. We have a new name and new look, but the way families access PaCC and the support we offer has not changed. Our existing services, support and activities continue as before.
Inside this month’s newsletter, families can find information about the proposed SEND reforms and PaCC’s new termly SEND Reforms Newsletter. This aims to provide clear, accessible updates about what is being proposed, how families can get involved and opportunities for parent and family carers to help influence and shape the developing SEND system.
There are also opportunities for families to have their say. PaCC is asking parent carers to share their experiences of working with health professionals, including how health staff communicate, work in partnership and provide support.
Families can also find details of PaCC’s guides and information resources, designed to make SEND information clearer and easier to understand, PaCC September Newsletter alongside information about our Community Navigator Service. The service offers personalised information and signposting for parent carers of children and young people aged 0–25 with SEND in Shropshire.
The September edition also includes information about the DBS Every Check Helps campaign, the Shropshire Wellbeing and Navigation Network (SWANN), and a packed selection of SEND-friendly activities, groups and events taking place across Shropshire this autumn, including October half-term and Halloween activities.
