Changes in the PACC Team


Last month Cathy, the PACC administrator decided to explore new opportunities and secured the role of Prevention Officer at Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service. Over the past few years many of you will have received information from Cathy, as PACC’s first point of contact for general enquiries.  She had a great ability to connect with SEND families and to provide a friendly, helpful, and understanding response.  We wish Cathy all the very best in her new role.

Going forward PACC has been able to secure funding to develop our Admin Support post and are now advertising a 20-hour, term time only role.  The full job description and specification can be read here.  We are looking for someone with proven experience who can actively support the busy PACC Team. PACC offers flexible working, and the role will suit a parent carer, with an understanding of the issues faced by SEND families, but the post is open to non-parent carers too.  Initially the role will be a short-term contract for 12months, with the intention that it will be extended if funding allows.  If you would like to join a fun and dynamic team, working to improve the lives of Shropshire SEND families please do get in touch.  The closing date for applications is Friday 19th April 2024.
