Feedback Requested from Young Shropshire Wheelchair Users

15/08/2017

Some of you may have already been contacted by Shropshire Wheelchair and Mobility Services about an exciting new piece of research, called the WATCh project. Researchers from Bangor University want to understand what young wheelchair users hope to achieve when they receive a new wheelchair. The evidence from this research project may help to improve future NHS wheelchair services in the UK.

If you are a wheelchair user aged 18 or under (or the carer/parent of a young wheelchair user) and you’d like to take part, please let the WATCh project team know (l.tuersley@bangor.ac.uk or call 07979 081697). For more information about the project please read the attached leaflet (there’s one for parents/carers and one for young people).

If you have already received a questionnaire and would like to take part, please return the questionnaire using the contact details on the attached leaflet(s). If you have returned a questionnaire but haven’t heard from the WATCh project yet, please let the project team know.
