
PACC Workshop – 2nd July 2026, 9.30am – 2.30pm @ Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Shrewsbury
The workshop will include;
- The development of PACC – discussions about membership and name
- The SEND Reforms in Shropshire
Join us to help support PACC moving forwards and learn more about the Expert at Hand and Mainstream Inclusion Fund and what they will mean for you and your family. The session will;
- Provide an opportunity to inform PACC’s future development
- Learn about the Experts at Hand and the Mainstream Inclusion fund
- Share your thoughts and idea on what mainstream schools should automatically provide to remove any barriers to learning and what the Shropshire Experts at Hand should deliver.
The workshop will be of interest to all families of children and young people with SEND aged 0-25 Lunch will be provided.

The SEND Reforms are happening! While some of the proposed changes were part of the recent national consultation and we won’t know what that results in until later in the year, some key changes in how children and young people with SEND will be support in mainstream schools are happening now. Local areas are developing Reform Plans and receiving funding which will see an increased focus on inclusion in mainstream schools by the end 2026. Join us at this PACC event to find out more about the new Experts at Hands offer and the Mainstream Inclusion Fund.
Experts at Hand
This will offer support across all settings, early years, schools and post 16 to improve the identification of SEND and increased and earlier access to from Education Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Specialist Teachers.

Mainstream Inclusion Fund
This fund will ensure that funding to improve inclusion will go directly to mainstream settings starting in 2026. All settings will be expected to develop an Inclusion Strategy by the end of the year.
