As discussed at the AGM in May, PACC plans to move to being a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, giving it a legal identity, which will support future growth. PACC’s aims and objectives will remain the same and it will continue to be a membership organisation, whose work is informed by the experiences of Shropshire Parent and Family Carers.
This change requires eligible PACC members to vote on the proposal to transfer funds, staff and belongings of the existing organisation to the new organisation (currently known as Parent Carer Community Shropshire) and to close the original charity (Parent and Carer Council Shropshire). All PACC trustees voted in at the AGM will also transfer to the new organisation.
