Meeting other parents and carers
An important role of PACC is bringing parents and carers together to share experiences and information.
Throughout the year we organise a number of events that will bring parent and carers together. Our feedback has shown that parent and carers really value these oppotunities to meet other people who are in similar situations to themselves. Realising that there are other people who share your concerns is a valuable thing, as is being in an environment where you are not the odd one out.
We aim to extend our family based activities over the coming year, combining fun with participation. We also have an online forum on our website to provide an opportunity for parents and carers to exchange thoughts with other parents and carers on an on going basis and whenever they wish.
