Our membership is very important to us. It means we are in contact with a group of people who are qualified to comment on the issues that we are concerned with. As parents and carers our strength is in working together as one team, rather than as individuals continually having to overcome the same hurdles or breaking down the same barriers. That is why we need you to join PACC.
By becoming a member, you will be directly contacted (by e-mail, post or occasionally telephone) with details of any consultation we are involved in. You will also be given priority when booking a place at PACC events and regular newsletters, again sent directly to you, containing feedback and updates on our work. As a member you are also eligible to represent PACC on any work groups or steering groups we may be invited to join, providing the parent / carer perspective on an ongoing basis for individual projects or work areas.
We are keen to work with existing parent / carer groups in Shropshire and to co-ordinate our activities appropriately. To facilitate this it is possible for a group to join PACC and to benefit from the direct flow of information about our work. Individuals from other groups are still eligible to become members of PACC in their own right to benefit from the entitlements outlined above.
